Integrating eight joint venture telecommunications companies across Europe and the USA.

This complex programme was designed to provide global customers across eight countries, with a consistent set of product and billing options, and a common customer service experience. It involved many technical, logistical and cultural issues that needed careful management.
After confirming the board’s commitment to the programme, the next step was to select the programme team which would be responsible for all aspects of the integrated company’s operations. A process model was then produced, along with a development plan and roll-out strategy to deliver the desired results.

Having successfully deployed the solution to three of the eight countries, a great deal of flexibility was required when a major contract was won from a global information provider, which called for a complete rethink of the deployment strategy in order to meet the needs of the client. The programme was re-focussed and successfully delivered against very demanding criteria. The needs of a key customer were met and the expected profit was delivered.
